The Thoughts Inside My Head

“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”

-Ephesians 4:29

And that is what I’ll try to do…

Day 15. A Year of Rainbows.

People assume I don’t like being touched. That’s not really true. It’s just that I experience and use my senses much differently because I’m autistic. This post focuses on touching for me.

Day 14. A Year of Rainbows

My pastor’s dad, a resident at the nursing home I work, passed today and I knew his heart would be sad. Despite what some may believe, many autistic individuals, including myself, are actually EXTREMELY empathetic, but I don’t always know how to process my emotions. Today I relied on my faith.

Day 13. A Year of Rainbows

I had to be COVID tested again today at work which is always hard, but thanks to my two wonderful nurse friends, even though there was a little storm cloud, the day was filled with rainbows! Bonus picture included.

Day 12. A Year of Rainbows.

I am a rainbow in a colorblind world and people see with their words but that’s not how my mind works. My heart feels troubled tonight.
